The Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit is for many pilots one of the most attractive and technical tracks in Europe.
For many riders, Jerez is, along with Assen, the benchmark. Its thirteen curves enable the fine-tuning of setup. Its length is 4,423 meters (4,428 with chicane) and it offers a variety of low, medium and high speed curves, technically ideal for making the mechanics work thoroughly, as recognized by the important competition teams that have made it an international benchmark. for pre-season training.
Thanks to its more than 3,200 hours of sunshine a year, the Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit can be used 365 days a year, and that’s the reason why it is one of the most popular circuits on the international scene. In addition, as an exceptional added value, the visitor has the city of Jerez as the closest urban reference, a modern and cosmopolitan city that offers a varied cultural, gastronomic and leisure offer.
Jerez has always had a close relationship with motor sport and more specifically with motorcycling..

Jerez MotoGP Grandstand Tickets
We have selected our favourite viewing locations to allow you to catch the best action of the Jerez GP. The top ticket, A10, is on the final corner, and the final opportunity for last minute overtaking (Lorenzo got it hard in 2013)! C2 is on the first turn, always an exciting spot at the start. X1 (pictured) on the penultimate turn is the most popular - it always sells out first and has great long views and electric atmosphere. An equally good choice is the nearby X0 which is a bit less frantic, and at least as good viewing - X1 seating is generally higher, X0 closer to the bikes. A good value option is R9 which is right on the 'Dry Sack' corner - the slowest corner of the circuit (these seats are un-numbered), and 'V.I.P.' (not to be confused with VIP Village) is on the start grid - good for podium! All have TV views. Instead of general admission (pelousse) tickets go for R9 at some few Euros more and get general admission plus a great corner grandstand seat. All tickets valid 3 days.
Travel tips:
Jerez has direct flights on RyanAir from UK; Hapag, Air Berlin and Condor from Germany. Consider flights to Seville which gives more options, Malaga is a 2 hour drive.
Trip advice
GETTING TO JEREZ
Beware: Jerez is a tiny airport, and the services there reflect this. If you plan to hire a car, do it well in advance, there will be no cars available on walk-up!
You can also consider flying to Seville (about 1 hr); Gibraltar (about 1.5 hr drive); Malaga (about 2.5 hr). There are public buses and trains connecting these cities to Jerez, however you might find a car hire the simplest option. If you are staying in one of our hotels in Chiclana, we suggest that you fly to Jerez or Seville and then rent a car (very cheap).
GETTING TO YOUR HOTEL
If you fly to Jerez, car hire is probably the simplest option, or you can simply take a taxi. If you are driving car or bike, we have secure parking at all our hotels.
From the Hotels in Chiclana de la Frontera it takes about 35-40 minutes to the circuit of Jerez racetrack.
GETTING TO THE TRACK
Jerez circuit is situated about 12 km east of Jerez. There is NO public transport there. Taxis may take you to the circuit upon and agreement of payment as they also have to return. At the end of the day sometimes taxis wait at the main entrance.
Parking is also tricky -- while there is plenty of parking space, it will jam up and exiting the car park, even on motorcycle, will require patience. We recommend a late departure from the track. VIP Village customers may request a VIP parking pass, customers with special VIP tickets also have a private car park near the grandstand. In both cases, long waits to exit are the norm.
GETTING AROUND JEREZ
During the GP, taxis are scarce, and especially on Saturday night, the town is heaving with people; so progress will be slow. Our advice: walk. The town is not that big, you can walk from Jerez hotels to the city centre in about 25 minutes. You will probably be there before the taxi! Saturday night there is a street party near to the Sherry Park!
